We opted to not got to Luebeck like we had originally (albeit lossely) planned. We needed a break for our legs and feet and just dodnt want another packed day. We slept in and got up for the breakfast. Went back to bed and read or played games. People watched, Pigeon watched (they were fighting), while drinking some coffee and monching some stroopwaffle.
Felt wonderful. We did step out for dinner. We went for Labskaus and managed to snag the last 2 spits at a pretty full of bar/restaurant. Sarah got schnitzel which was sadly a touch overcooked but still ok. Beer was good.
We also figured out the bus stop and time for when we head out early tomorrow for the train.
Goat cheese in honey with onions and tomato. Was quite good.
Labskaus is finely minced meat with onion, beets, pickle, potato with a fried egg on top. Supposedly made for Hamburg sailors who had bad teeth, it has mashed potato texture. I liked it
This sounds like the perfect vacation day
