Identity Theft and Jetlag

I think we're cursed on trips theres always something that happens just before we start.  This time around we were waiting at an airport lounge when Sarah got an alert from her bank of a new credit inquiry for Barclays.

While we started googling what to do another inquiry came through for Syncrony Bank Dicks Sporting Goods credit card.  

Sooo... googled things to do.  Sarah froze credit requests for Transunion, equifax, and experian.  Contacted both barclays and synchrony fraud to report it and get info.  Raised a fraud alert via transunion so any requests in next year have an extra security step of calling Sarah on her phone number.

Woof.  Fun start, but at least this all took about 30 minutes.  Kudos to her credit union for sending her alerts.

Plane trip was pleasant, almost no turbulence.  I slept about half of it (4 hours) Sarah didnt. Sarah had asked if there was anything done for honeymooners (as domestic flights Delta willdo things like glases of champagne).  The crew stopped by to congratulate us a few times and at the end one of the stewards said hed check for what they had, and gave us an entire bottle of champagne.  Pretty cool.

After landing we got through customs very quickly, almost nothing to it.  A lady at the train station was extremely helpful.  We got our ticket to the south amsterdam station where we then had to get a metro pass for the next 3 days.  We took that train to our hotel neighborhood, got here around noon.

Didnt have too much energy to do anything other than this.  Its 1:45pm here, 6:45 am in MN and we're somewhat trying to stay awake to get on a new sleep schedule.  We ordered room service for food.  Soup, coffees, sandwich, and bitterballen.  Sarah is crashing Im going to try and stay awake until 4. We'll probably wake up and eat whats left for dinner and go back to sleep.  

These bitterballen are pretty great
